Hello, world

Every personal site begins with a hello-world post. This one is at least honest about it.

vocs.io is an evolving record of things built, explored and thought about — a lab notebook in public. It exists because building without writing down what you learned is a kind of amnesia, and because explaining something to strangers is the cheapest way to find out whether you actually understand it.

What belongs here: notes on agentic software, experiments that worked and — more useful — ones that didn’t, and the occasional strong opinion held loosely. What doesn’t: tutorial rewrites, announcement theatre, and anything written for search engines instead of people.

The lab section holds open questions rather than answers. The built section holds things that exist. The gap between the two is where most of the interesting work happens.
